Can you introduce yourself and tell us what you do at our school?
Hello, I'm Miss Lemin and I teach Jaguars Class in Year 6. I qualified as a teacher in 2015 and began my teaching journey at Eye (where did the time go?!). This year, I am responsible for English and Reading (alongside Mrs Bright when she returns from her Maternity Leave).
What did you study at University?
I studied Early Years Education BA (Hons) at University of Bedfordshire; I went on to complete my teacher training with Teach East in Peterborough to gain QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
What were your favourite subjects at school?
I enjoyed Geography, PE and History at school. I had an inspiring Geography teacher who encouraged my ambitions to work in education.
What did you do before you were a teacher?
Before I became a teacher, I studied my A-levels and my degree. Whilst doing this, I worked part-time in a shoe shop and then at Tesco.
What do you like to do out of school?
My favourite hobbies are reading (I try to read as much as possible!); going for a run; eating out (and in, actually) and spending time with my nephews who are two and eight years old.
What's your favourite meal?
I love lots of different foods. If I had to choose, it would be a spicy Indian curry with all the sides.
Is there anything you really don't like?
Clowns, spiders and cotton wool. Yuck!
Can you describe yourself in one adjective?
