Year 6 Fundraising Events

Class 11 split up into four groups and chose local charities to raise money for. The first group kicked off the fundraisers with a non uniform day, to donate money for the Amazon Children’s Ward at Peterborough District Hospital. They were very successful and raised an amazing £248.29.

The next week group 2 chose to do a ice cream and ice pole sale, selling ice creams for 50p and ice poles for 20p and thankfully they raised £152.17, for St Teresa’s .

On week 3 there was a energy fulfilling sponsored fun run for the RSPCA and raised £224.86.

Last but not least the was a bring and buy sale which was named Bric a Brac and all the products there were all donated by parents and family from the school and they raised £191.67 for Sue Ryder.

This week each group got to personally deliver the money to the charity they raised there money for. Each charity was very pleased and astonished at the amount of money that was being given to them by surprised! Therefore we thank all the children and parents of the school for their support in making local people’s live happier!!!!!
