Uniform
Uniform
The school colours are green and yellow. Pupils should wear clothes in these colours. We hope this will foster a sense of community and pride in the school and in their own appearance.
- grey trousers / skirt
- white or grey shirt/blouse
- white or yellow polo shirt
- green sweatshirt / cardigan
- green and white or yellow and white dress
School jumpers, sweatshirts and cardigans are available and can be ordered through the ESA, but this is not obligatory.
Pupils should wear sensible shoes (not trainers) that are low heeled/flat. It would be helpful if Reception children wear shoes that they can fasten for themselves.
P.E. - black or white shorts / leotard / plain white T-shirt / plimsolls for outdoor P.E. All pupils will need a change of clothes for P.E.
Pupils are welcome to wear a track suit for outdoor games.
Young children find it quite difficult to cope with small buttons so we do advise T-shirts and elasticated waists. Plimsolls should be slip-on.
All pupils will take part in swimming lessons and will need a swimming costume and hat and a towel. Neither goggles nor jewellery are permitted.
Please make sure that all school clothing worn in school is named. This is really important as lost items cannot be returned unless there is identification.
Jewellery
Please do not send children to school wearing jewellery. Looped ear-rings are a safety hazard, especially in P.E. Only small studs are acceptable and they must be removed before P.E. and swimming.
Hair
In the interests of safety hair longer than shoulder length will need tying back for P.E. It is a good idea to keep long hair tied back for all lessons as pupils often perform practical tasks during lessons.
