It is hard to believe that is the last half term already! We have a very busy and fun half term planned. In Mathematics we will be focusing on measurement including capacity and time. In English we will be writing explanation texts. In Topic we will be learning about pirates and thinking about whether the pirate's life is for us.  In Science we will be learning about plants.We have an  exciting educational visit planned that I am sure the children will really enjoy. We are also busy preparing for a musical  performance which we hope you will be able to attend!

Today we say goodbye to our lovely chicks. We are sad to see them go but we have learnt lots and have loved looking after them!

We had an incredible wow day on Friday. We used our arts and crafts skills to produce lots of amazing animals!

Thank you so much for all my lovely Christmas cards and gifts. They are very much appreciated.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Christmastime. I hope you spend it doing all the things you enjoy most. 

I am already very excited for next term. In Mathematics we will be focusing on measurement including weight and length. In English we will be writing explanation texts. In Topic we will be answering the question who rules the animal kingdom? If you have time you could discuss who you think rules the animal kingdom with an adult. In Science we will be learning about food chains. We may even have an educational visit and some fluffy visitors too! 

I cannot wait to see you all in January and hear about your Christmas holidays.

Today we had a great day raising money for Children in Need and the Anti Bullying Association.

We had a truly amazing day for our WOW day on Wednesday. Thank you for all the effort that went into the costumes. The children looked incredible.
