We have been looking at the different living kingdoms in Science this week, such as animal, plants, bacteria and fungi. Overtime, the yeast expanded and caused the balloon to blow up.

Science - 23rd February

For our first lesson looking at states of matter, we looked at the differences between solids, liquids and gases. We then looked at how the particles in these states of matter behaved. We understood that solid particles are close together and can hardly move; liquid particles have more room to move but will stay contained in their container; and the gas particles have lots of space to move and will fill any available. We went outside to act like these particles to better understand them.
