Career-Long Professional Learning (CLPL)

Here at Eye, we are committed to raising the quality of teaching and learning and the training experiences that support this.

We have been asked to share our innovative practice with the local primary schools and we have worked with the Peterborough Local Authority and Diocese of Peterborough on supporting CLPL events.

We are forming many partnerships in our quest to ensure that ALL children, from Eye and beyond, have access to great learning via engaging teaching strategies and leading national initiatives.  

Our CLPL team are researchers and highly-competent classroom practitioners. We are fortunate to have a wealth of expertise amongst our staff which we value highly and endeavour to share.  In our view, learning is for life and it is crucial that teachers are also trained and exposed to current research and powerful pedagogies so that they are equipped to deliver the curriculum with the best possible outcomes for all children.  We value our staff interests and welcome their enthusiasm to learn so that all of our school community can benefit from this.

At Eye, our door is always open and we warmly welcome visits from other schools.
