I can still remember my own days at primary school and the events that helped to shape the person I am today. I became a governor to help other children have the same opportunities I had - and hopefully enjoy learning just as much!
My main roles are vice-chair and link governor for the curriculum, which I find rewarding as it's such an important part of making different subjects relatable, engaging and inspiring for all children.
I work as a project manager so I am used to developing strategies, making action plans and monitoring outcomes, and I enjoy using these skills in a voluntary capacity at Eye.
