Mrs Hewitt
Can you introduce yourself and tell us what you do at our school?
Hello, I'm Mrs Hewitt and I am lucky enough to be teaching in Year 6 this year in Jaguars class.
This is also my fifth year teaching at Eye Primary School.
What did you study at University?
I studied Dance at De Montfort University and then went on to gain my QTS (Qualified Teachers Status) through TeachEast, based in Peterborough.
What were your favourite subjects at school?
​I loved Maths and Dance.
What did you do before you were a teacher?
My first job was at Matalan, where I worked there for 6 years during both my A-Levels and through university. Afterwards I began working at Travelex, where I sold foreign currency.
What do you like to do out of school?
My favourite hobbies are dancing, going out for walks around Ferry Meadows and spending time with my friends and family. I also love to read and go to the gym.
What's your favourite meal?
Spaghetti Bolognese.
Is there anything you really don't like?
Spiders!

Bubbly.
