Jemma Keegan

I live in Eye and have two older teenagers who attended Eye Primary. I've been a co-opted Governor at Eye since 2014. My roles are Chair of our PPG committee and lead governor for SEND. I enjoy supporting Eye Primary with the experience I've gained through my work in the local authority and charity sectors. I've chosen a quote by Martin Luther King (with whom I share a birthday) to explain what being a Governor means to me: "Make a career of humanity. Commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a better person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in." MLK 1959.
