Science

Today we explored what light and dark is. We had lots of different pictures and identified which were light sources and which were not. We then used a box to explore whether we could see items inside it when we poked holes into the boxes.

Computing

Today we were learning to understand the terminology around databases. We played games using the comparison cards and then created our own comparison cards.

08.10.21

We have had a very busy week in Penguins class.

We started making our cushions, made a compost bin and even learnt how to play a xylophone. Please ask your children all about their very exciting week!

04.10.21

Today we had a visit from poet Matt Windle. He gave us some performance tips and even performed his poem for us. At the end of the day we performed one of Matt's poem to him on zoom!

Today we had our first forest school session. We had fun climbing trees, playing in the mud kitchen and making dens. Please ask us all about it tonight.
