Remote learning w/c 28.06
Attached below is the timetable that we will be following next week. Each day, we will upload the learning tasks on here and also on Tapestry. Zoom sessions will be held daily at 9:30, 11:00 and 13:30, details for this have been emailed out.
PE - Wednesday
For PE on Wednesday, there won't be a zoom session but instead, you have a special challenge to complete!
I would like you to create a PE based game that I can play on Saturday afternoon to pass the time whilst we aren't able to go out. You will need to practice the game yourself to make sure that it works and is something that I can do without needing another person to play the game with. It would also be super if you could upload some videos or photos so that I can clearly understand the rules of the game!
Equipment that I have at home:
-Tennis bat and balls
Skills that you could include:
-Throwing and catching
-Bowling a ball
-Gymnastics- rolls, jumps and turns
I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Miss Collins :-)
Bookman's Reading Challenge
I have attached Bookman's reading challenge for you to complete over half term! I hope you enjoy completing all the challenges. Happy half term! :-)

Good afternoon Penguins,

It has been great to see you all working hard in person and on zoom.
Below is the link to all our collective worships that will be taking place in school.
I hope you enjoy watching our collective worships. Miss Collins :-)
Hello Penguins and welcome back!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I wish we could see each other at school again but for now, Miss Canham will be teaching children at home through live zoom sessions each day. I have attached a timetable that we will be following over the next few weeks, including a different timetable for our first day back tomorrow (06.01). If you have any questions please just email me on the class email (email@example.com)
Superhero day in memory of Elliott Cantrell
Thank you so much for coming into school dressed as superheroes and raising money for Elliott's army.
Half term message and challenges
Well done Penguins for a fantastic half term, I am very proud of all of you for how well you have settled back in.
Over half term, it would be fantastic if you could have a go at the TTRS challenge and the Bookman reading challenge that have both been sent home today. I have also set of a bit of a battle between Penguins and Zebras class, there will be an exciting prize for the winning class! See you soon! :)
Today we learnt about how soil is formulated. We even made our own compost bins!
Today we have been learning about the fossilisation process. We acted out the process and even made fossil jelly! Please ask us all about it tonight.
This week we have been learning the poem Shopping Trolley by Brian Moses.
Please scan the QR code below to watch us perform the poem.
We also had a very inspiring visit from poet Karl Nova. He performed some of his poems for us and even helped us to learn one too!
