Can you introduce yourself and tell us what you do at our school?
Hello, I’m Mrs. Holvey and I teach in Year 1. This is my third year at Eye and I am looking forward to starting an exciting year with Foxes Class.
What did you study at University?
I have a degree in Education (BSc Hons) which I studied at the University of Peterborough. I then went on to complete my PGCE at the University of Hull.
What were your favourite subjects at school?
At school I liked most subjects. However, I preferred art and science as I enjoyed the practical side of the lessons.
What did you do before you were a teacher?
Before I worked as a Teacher, I worked as a beauty therapist and then went on to work in education as a teaching assistant, and HLTA, while studying for my degree at university.
What do you like to do out of school?
Outside of school is spent with my family. I have two children and a dog, which keep me very busy. I love travelling, eating out and shopping!
What's your favourite meal?
My favourite meal has to be a chicken fillet burger with chips and gravy!
Is there anything you really don't like?
Olives and cheese.
